Parenteral Nutrition
Parenteral nutrition provides nutrients by intravenous route when oral or enteral feeding is not possible, insufficient or contraindicated. The main aim of parenteral nutrition is to improve the patient’s nutritional status, prevent malnutrition, provide adequate levels of macro and micro nutrients and prevent rapid loss of muscle mass.
Our Fresenius Kabi portfolio includes both parenteral nutrition and medical devices for parenteral.
